From my perspective, incorporating scientific and technical knowledge into university education is essential but as important as the development of critical thinking and creativity. As professor of Material Science and Biomaterials to students of industrial engineering and biotechnology, I emphasize these principles to encourage students to not only comprehend the technical knowledge base but also become critical thinkers, effective team members, lifelong learners, and curious individuals who seek to understand the world around them and apply creative thinking to solve complex problems.
